The long cord would be nice, but the connector doesn’t work at all with my iPhone 3GS, which make this cord worthless to me. That problem is not limited to this product. I’ve found few connectors besides the cords directly from Apple that actually work.

The standard cord that comes with the iPhone is way too short and after only a few months of use it’s starting to fall apart from me trying to stretch it longer than it can handle. I was thrilled when I came across this item. I haven’t had any issues so far where it doesn’t charge, it’s working fine for me. I love how I can lay in bed and easily charge my phone while playing games or what not. One thing to note is that the plug that goes from the charger into the iPhone is similar to the older iPods where you have to pinch the two corners to remove the charger. It’s not a big deal, it’s just slightly different than the design of the current chargers. I’d recommend this to anyone who is sick of the short phone charger.

I agree with others that indicate the connector itself is less than ideal. Unlike other connectors, this one requires the user to squeeze a button on each side to disconnect it from the device. Perhaps this creates a more secure connection, but it makes me wonder if it will break faster. Nevertheless, it absolutely does what it advertises: makes life easier by allowing me to truly use the device while it charges. I have not attempted to use it for synching, as I only need a short cord for that. This one is definitely a keeper. In fact, I may order a couple more!

I always struggled with that super-short charge cable that comes with the IPhone. When I found this product online and read previous reviews I got one for myself right away. No regrets!!! It just works perfect for me!
