  1. i got the white one, because my boyfriend likes his black iphone so much. however, it’s just too big for easy carrying around. speed was fast!

tried to get a few apps, and it sent me about six text messages that i had to put in some secret numbers to get the app, and then it wouldn’t accept my credit card after 4 days of ordering it! a waste of hours trying to get a ringtone app.

itunes is a mess. for me, i had to download itunes onto my computer, then have it convert any convertable songs to itune format.

i can only make a playlist on the computer, and i just don’t have time for that. if i’m out jogging, i want to play my 2000 or so songs and figure out which go with what speed i’m moving, and add it to the playlist right then. i could NEVER do that with this phone.

i probably spent 8 hours in the four days or so i owned it trying to play songs on it. i’m not a tech nerd, but what a waste of time. never did get a song to play.

with the scandisc, and regular mp3 format, i can use it in my other music devices, and move it from phone to phone, but itunes has to be different…

but guess if one owned the ipod, you’re halfway done, i guess.

i never could figure out why the gps kept showing three pins on a map, and it couldn’t remember my main location.

and then you have to purchase a car charger, too. pay all that money for a phone, and they still make you buy the most important thing there is to go with it. i had to keep it plugged into a charger all the time, and that was just having it on. i took a few photos, never did get to play a song.

doing the was a nuisance. some apps say it was free, then after two uses it wants to charge your credit card. like a ringtone it says to download to the phone itself, it supposedly sent it to my email, but even now, a week later, it still isn’t here yet. never did get an app to apply.

nice thing about it was you would never have to use a computer again. the safari internet was fast and fantastic.

you have to lightly touch skin to screen for lettering or noting something, which even in the keyboard layout was a nuisance. i have small hands and fingers, and it was still difficult. also, there’s not even a period or a comma on the keypad. my samsung behold i can use my nails and can be fast, and it has the punctuation easy to use.

it was not user friendly. some phones you turn on, and it’s easy to know how to work it. it didn’t even come with a user’s manual. no internet help, no phone help.

if i lived next door to the AT&T store so i could ask their help, it would be helpful.

    AT&T staff great!

maybe if they came out with a smaller newer version, i’d try one out again.

tried the nexus google, and that was too big and clunky, too.

updated a few notes 4 30 2010, and am adding this:

saw a demo from a best buy cellphone salesman a few days ago of his motorola droid from verizon. fast fast fast, same size and weight as my behold so smaller than an iphone,

comfortable in the hand. he downloaded free tetris in less than 30 seconds and was playing it, and he youtubed instantly. bigger letters on the keyboard. also, you can slide it to use the hidden keypad. think i’ll try that one out.
