I love this Iphone case,it is high quality and I do not expect it to break easily like the one I purchased at the AT&T store. As you can clearly see in the photo, the bottom segment (black) part of this case comes up over the bottom of the phone, leaving an opening for access to the on/off switch and your charger. My original hard shell case has a different style of bottom with a skinny piece of plastic coming across the front of the phone just below the on/off switch that continues to break and I have super glued it several time to only have it break again.

This case is tough and fits perfectly on the phone. I like that it is a hard shell and not the rubber material a lot of Iphone cases are made of as they collect lent and anything else that is floating around inside your purse. The top portion is about 3/4 the length of the entire phone and the bottom black portion covers the bottom quarter of the phone, matching up and clicking together to stay in place. I don’t foresee any issues of having the pieced slide apart (another issue with my previous cover), it feels like it is on sturdy and will stay that way unless I manually separate the pieces.

I am very happy with this product, it is attractive, durable, and practical. Thank you Amazon!

I ordered one of these for my old iPhone 3G and I loved it. The finish is comparable to other similar (and much more expensive) cases available in the market. It fits snugly but at the same time is not overly tight. The buttons are easily accessible (as easy as the other cases with openings, if not better) and charging with the cable is easy as well, without the need to detach the lower portion of the case. However in case of some docks/charging stations, I had to remove the black portion.

The iPhone doesn’t feel very bulky with the case on, at the same time the shell seems to be sturdy enough.

I wish they made this case in more colors!

  3. I got my iPhone 3GS relatively late in the game, as Apple just announced the iphone 4 yesterday. Still, I needed something at the time (early April), and I’ve been looking around for a case. Problem is everything I’d find didn’t feel great, or was too bloody expensive. That’s a problem when buying things from iJobs. A lot of it is expensive. I’d been using some iPod socks I bought for my iPod touch a few years back on the iPhone. It wasn’t optimal, but at least it protected the thing from scratches and keys when not in use.

Then I saw this case pop up. I’m familiar with Amazon’s Basics line already, having bought a bunch of blank media, and several cables from them. So I took a shot and ordered this. Glad I did, as it popped on nicely, and gives my iPhone a feel that doesn’t make me think I’m going to drop it. The red back has a slightly rubbery feel to it, just enough to give you a sense of grip, yet not enough where it grates on your fingers, or feels sticky.

This is a nice quality case, and I would hope Amazon would make a similar thing for the iPad, too. :) I’d buy it in a second, this was a great cover.
